I'm telling myself this as much as anything else.....
I'm slowly getting around to this, but here's my ideal: writing background articles/cd reviews about the music I came into contact with working at the Yale music library. Now, these aren't necessarily new releases, so maybe no one will care, and they're mostly things I didn't already know, so they're not all that well-known. (no Pachelbel canons here, guys...) I'm trying to work out how to include sound clips since that'll (hopefully) make my case a bit more substantial.
In the meantime, thanks to last night's episode of Fringe I'll attract new visitors to the website by talking about the Bach Mass in a minor. Not "Bach mass in b minor," which will get you over 220,000 hits on a google search, but a minor, which is closer to 4. (hint: it doesn't exist!)
So if you're here from Fringe, welcome! You probably won't like what ends up here, but check out Herreweghe's recording of the Bach Mass in b minor, it's the best. EVER.
Not actually stolen, but things I haven't listened to yet. To redeem myself, I will write about them, and once finished, I will truly own them. Get it?
